24/7 Alarm Monitoring

An alarm that only makes noise relies on a neighbour caring enough to act. Back-to-base monitoring connects your system to a monitoring centre around the clock — so when it triggers at 3am, or while you’re overseas, someone actually responds. Available for homes, businesses and strata buildings across Sydney.

What’s included

  • Connection of your alarm to a 24/7 monitoring centre
  • Verification of every activation before escalation
  • Your nominated contact list, in the order you choose
  • Response dispatch when required
  • Event history you can review
  • Optional CCTV monitoring alongside the alarm
  • Support if the system needs adjusting after go-live

Who it’s for

Homes

Especially useful if the property is empty during the day, you travel often, or you have a holiday home you can’t check on.

Business & industrial

Overnight and weekend cover for premises holding stock, equipment or records, with escalation to your nominated staff.

Strata buildings

Cover for plant rooms, storage and common areas, with escalation to the building manager rather than individual residents.

How much does back-to-base monitoring cost?

Monitoring is a monthly service, and the cost depends on whether it’s a home or commercial site, how many zones are monitored, whether CCTV is included, and the response level you choose.

If your alarm is already compatible, connecting it is usually straightforward. We’ll confirm compatibility and give you the monthly figure up front — no lock-in surprises.

Frequently asked questions

What actually happens when my alarm triggers?
The signal reaches the monitoring centre within seconds. An operator verifies the activation, notifies you and your listed contacts, and dispatches a response if needed. Every event is recorded.
What happens if it’s a false alarm?
Activations are verified before escalation, which is why sensor placement matters so much. If false alarms are recurring, we’ll come and recalibrate the sensors.
Can you monitor an alarm I already have?
In most cases yes, regardless of who installed it. We check compatibility first and tell you honestly if an upgrade is needed.
Does it need a phone line?
No. Modern monitoring works over the internet or mobile network, with backup paths so a single failure doesn’t leave the property unmonitored.
Can my cameras be monitored too?
Yes. CCTV monitoring can run alongside alarm monitoring, which allows visual verification of an activation before a response is dispatched.
